Five FELE Test Prep Tips

Are you planning to take the Florida Educational Leadership Exam (FELE)?  If so, Dr. Lynette Fields has five FELE test prep tips to help you prepare for the exam:

  1. Study FELE Prep’s modules intensely for 4-6 weeks and take the test when you are on the top of your game.
  2. Be sure that you can read and interpret data tables. There are several test questions across all three subtests that address data interpretation.
  3. Know and apply the hidden curriculum behind the test.
  4. Use the white sheet (dry erase sheet) during your test to knowledge dump, assist you with data questions, and analyze the distractors.
  5. Practice writing responses to sample written performance assessment prompts prior to testing.

Dr. Fields is 31-year veteran of public education who has authored and co-authored numerous articles and textbooks on administrator preparation. Today, she helps students prepare for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam by offering FELE study materials, FELE tutoring, FELE seminars and study aids including FELE flashcards.   Dr. Fields had developed a FELE exam study guide /module for each of the FELE subtests as well as a FELE practice test.

Planning to take the Florida Educational Leadership Exam? FELE Prep offers a variety of FELE study materials to help you prepare.  Our latest FELE test prep tool is designed to complement our study modules and FELE seminars.  FELE flashcards consist of a single set of flashcards containing key terms and theorists.  This type of study method is designed for visual learners who would like a quick and easy FELE test prep review tool as it can help you retain important information you need to know for Subtests 1, 2, and 3.

FELE flashcards are also a perfect supplement to any FELE practice test you plan to take. They are easy for single study and also make group studying more fun!

Once purchased, FELE flashcards are able to be downloaded immediately. There are approximately 40 pages with about 150 terms/theorists.  It is important to note that  although they contain approximately 1/3 of the information needed for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam, the FELE flashcards are not designed to totally replace the study modules.  They are simply another FELE test prep tool to help you with the multiple-choice sections.

Introducing a New Way to Prepare for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam!

FELE Prep is excited to announce that we have added a new tool for you to use to study for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam.  FELE Flashcards are now available in our online store.  While they are not a substitute for our study modules and FELE practice tests, they do provide another fun and easy way to prepare for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam.

FELE flashcards supplement the study modules and FELE practice tests by helping you focus on key terms and theorists for the multiple-choice items across Subtests 1, 2, and 3.  It is important to note that the FELE flashcards contain approximately 1/3 of the information you need to know for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam.  So, it is important to also utilize the study modules and take the FELE practice tests for maximum study prep.

FELE Prep is Piloting Subtest Specific 2.5 Hour Seminars!

Do you need help passing one or two of the FELE subtests?  If so, plan to attend FELE Prep’s specialized seminars for particular subtests on March 24th, Saturday in Tampa.

The cost is $155 plus the cost of the module (ranges from $64.94-$124.95).

The schedule on March 24th is as follows:

  • 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.  Module 1 –  Leadership for Student Learning ($155 plus $109.95)
  • 12:00 noon – 2:30 p.m. Module 2 – Organizational Development ($155 plus $109.95)
  • 3:00-5:30 p.m. Module 3A – Systems Leadership Written Performance Assessment ($155 plus $64.95)
  • 6:00-8:30 p.m. Module 3B – Systems Leadership Multiple Choice ($155 plus $114.95)

A New Year and New Website to Help You Prepare for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam

You may have noticed that we have a new website for 2018!  Our goal is to provide a user-friendly platform to help you to prepare for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam. FELE Prep is dedicated to your success, and now it is easier than ever to purchase our FELE study modules which include a FELE practice test, register for one of our FELE Test Prep One-Day Seminars, or request one-on-one FELE tutoring sessions.

We understand the Florida Educational Leadership Exam is challenging and requires much study and preparation. We also realize that each student is different, which is why we offer assistance in different formats:

  1. Our study modules which include a FELE practice test are designed to help both first time test takers and repeat test takers succeed on the exam. These downloadable self-study review guides include objectives, extensive content notes and even a FELE practice test. There are a total of six modules and we offer a discount when you purchase two or more modules.
  2. Our FELE Test Prep One-Day Seminar is an intensive eight-hour review course facilitated by Dr. Fields. During this time, Dr. Fields reviews the content for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam, offers instruction for complex concepts and concludes with a FELE practice test and FELE essay examples. Typical seminars are 8-10 participants.
  3. One-on-One Tutoring is also available. This is especially helpful for students who did not pass one or more of the Florida Educational Leadership Exam subtests.  We offer flexible scheduling and SKYPE tutoring for your convenience.
