Taking the first step in preparing for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam is often the most difficult. We have been addressing this in our latest series of articles. Once you are able to wrap your head around some of the concepts, strategies, and tools available, you will likely feel more comfortable and confident in your preparation efforts.
Our previous article covered the importance of taking time to evaluate your competencies and understanding what is expected in each subtest. Let’s take a look at two more ways you can begin to prepare for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam.
Develop a Study Plan
Developing a study plan and study schedule early on can help ensure you have the time and resources to properly prepare for the FELE. Make an effort to write out a plan and set aside a certain amount of study / review time each day or each week. This will help ease some of the stress associated with taking the FELE and also help prevent the need to “cram” right before the test.
