Overview of the Florida Educational Leadership Exam

FELE Prep works with Florida Educational Leadership Exam candidates throughout the state of Florida, providing effective and comprehensive FELE test prep materials and resources.  The first step in FELE test prep is understanding how the Florida Educational Leadership Exam is structured.  We are beginning a two part series which provides an overview of each component of the FELE test.

Subtest 1

Leadership for Student Learning

This portion of the FELE test is two hours and contains approximately 70 multiple choice questions.  Subtest 1 is designed to assess your knowledge of developing and implementing instructional framework, facilitating achievement, prioritizing learning, and structuring a positive environment.  FELE Prep offers a FELE exam study guide with FELE practice questions to help you prepare for Subtest 1.

Subtest 2

Organizational Development

Subtest 2 is also two hours and includes 70 multiple choice questions.  This portion of the FELE test is designed to assess your knowledge of how to recruit, train, develop and retain school staff and your understanding of personal and professional behavior standards.  We offer several FELE test prep resources for Subtest 2, including a FELE exam study guide with FELE practice questions.
