Breaking Down the Florida Educational Leadership Exam

Florida Educational Leadership Exam

We are continuing our series of articles designed to break down the Florida Educational Leadership Exam to help give you an idea of what to expect. Our previous article covered Subtest 1, Subtest 2, and the multiple choice section of Subtest 3. Today, we will take a closer look at the FELE written response – or written performance assessment – portion of the Florida Educational Leadership Exam as described in the Florida Department of Education FELE Test Blueprint:

  • The FELE written response is scored holistically by qualified professionals in the field of educational leadership.
  • To be successful in the FELE written response portion, candidates must demonstrate knowledge of effective communication practices that accomplish school and system-wide goals by building and maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

FELE Prep is proud to offer an entire FELE exam study guide which includes FELE writing tips to help you prepare for the FELE written response. Additionally, we also have FELE exam study guide resources with FELE practice questions for Subtest 1, Subtest 2, and Subtest 3. We even have FELE flashcards to help you with key terms and theorists in all three Subtests.

If you are seeking a more hands-on, personal FELE test prep experience, then you may want to consider our FELE seminars and/or FELE tutoring sessions. Both our FELE seminars and FELE tutoring sessions via Skype are facilitated by our founder, Dr. Lynette Fields, a 30+ year veteran of the Florida public school system.
